Performer, choreographer and interactive installation artist. She's built up her own improvisatory movement vocabulary based on the techniques of meditation, Kinetic Awareness, Contact Improv, yoga and various dance trainings. She teaches workshops in the US, Japan and Europe exploring touch based improvised performances and touch as a healing tool.
The workshop will explore how the sense of touch effects our bodies and minds. Using awareness of breath and body sensation, participants will engage the different qualities of touch, develop trust and a feeling of safety, and learn how to say yes or no as a conversation through body movement. We'll discover our individual choices in every moment in motion.

How do experiences of the past shape our relationship to the present? How is memory encoded in our bodies? Do body-based memories perpetuate reactivity rather than choice in our lives? In this experiential workshop we will explore the relationship of trauma in both mind and body. Through neuroscientific research we will explore our inherent, biological defenses that become shaped by significant experiences and end up framing our "yes", "no", and "maybe's". Movement, contemplative, and somatic oriented explorations will be offered to support nervous system regulation and the processing of significant memories.
